Preparing for your big day

The world of weddings can be a very stressful environment with many pitfalls on the way if every detail is not covered. The age old saying always comes to mind, “Fail to prepare, Prepare to fail!”

With so much going on it’s key that you prepare in detail leaving no stone unturned, remember, it’s your big day and you want everything to go smoothly.

In this series of blogs you’ll find everything you need to prepare for your big day. If there’s something we haven’t covered, please feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to talk through.

Visit the locations that you wish your big day to take part, if you know exactly where you want to have your wedding it’s still a good idea to pick a ‘wild card’ location to visit – it will give you a good idea of what to expect and you may be inspired by seeing another venue.

Venue dressing

Don’t forget that everything wedding is unique, it’s your wedding day so make sure you add your flavour, it may be the colour scheme, style or a particular flavour that you want to achieve – whatever it may be, it’ll be possible!

Ceremony

Will your ceremony take place outdoor? Don’t forget to factor in comfort, many venues can accommodate outdoor ceremonies. Not only are the scenic, but they leave a lasting impression (with the weather on your side)!

Indoor ceremonies are the most practical and as ‘stress free’ as possible in terms of accounting for any unpredictable weather, leaving you to focus on what’s really important and that’s enjoying your day.
